Free Junk Removal: When Does It Actually Happen?

Straight answer: it depends on what you have. Some items have enough scrap or resale value that a hauler will take them for free. Metal appliances, copper wire, aluminum — the scrap yard pays for these, which offsets our cost.

Old refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and metal filing cabinets sometimes qualify for free or very low-cost pickup in Dothan because of scrap metal value. Cast iron tubs are a good example — they're heavy, but metal yards pay well for them.

What Doesn't Qualify for Free Pickup
