Before people call us, they usually Google a few things first. These are the questions we actually get — from first-timers who've never hired a junk removal company to people who've done it but had a bad experience elsewhere.

Do I have to be home when you come?

Not always. For outdoor jobs — garage cleanout, yard waste, shed removal — we can often work without you present if you've unlocked the area and left clear instructions. For interior jobs, someone needs to be there to point out what stays vs. what goes. A mistake on that is hard to undo.

How far ahead do I need to schedule?

We typically book 1–3 days out for most jobs. Same-day is available depending on the day's schedule — call before 10am for the best shot at same-day. For large jobs or jobs with specific time windows (contractor coordination, lease turnover), give us 5–7 days.

Do you take everything, or are there things you won't haul?

• We take: furniture, appliances, electronics, yard waste, construction debris, tires, vehicles (call), hot tubs, pool tables, exercise equipment, and most household items
• We don't take: hazardous materials (asbestos, certain chemicals, biohazardous waste), liquid paint, propane tanks with fuel in them, certain medical waste
• Gray area items: Call us and describe it. We'll tell you straight.

How is the price calculated?

Volume (how much truck space your stuff takes up) and weight. Concrete, tile, and heavy materials cost more per cubic foot than furniture. Labor is included — we load everything ourselves. You get a firm quote on-site before anything is loaded. No surprises.

Do you separate for donation and recycling?

We try. Items clearly in good condition — furniture, working appliances — go to local donation when possible. Metal gets recycled. Electronics go to proper e-waste streams. The landfill is the last resort, not the first. We don't charge extra for routing items to better outcomes.

What if I'm not sure how much stuff I have?

Describe it to us over the phone — rooms affected, rough idea of how full they are, any heavy items. We'll give you a ballpark range. Final quote happens on-site. Most people are in the right ballpark from the phone conversation.

Will the crew be careful with my property?

Yes. Moving things out of a house without damaging walls, floors, and door frames takes practice. Our crew does this every day. If something does get scratched or damaged, tell us before we leave. We'll document and handle it — we're not in the business of damaging people's homes and disappearing.

How long does a typical job take?

• Single-item pickup (sofa, mattress): 20–40 minutes
• Garage cleanout: 1.5–3 hours
• Full house cleanout: 4–8+ hours depending on size
• Estate/hoarding cleanout: Often multiple visits

Do you work on weekends?

Yes. Saturday is our busiest day. Sunday is available with some limitations. Weekend slots fill faster, so call Thursday or Friday to lock in a weekend appointment.

Do you serve outside Dothan?

Yes — we serve all of the Wiregrass: Enterprise, Ozark, Headland, Daleville, Midland City, Fort Novosel area, and surrounding areas in Houston, Dale, Henry, and Geneva Counties. Call to confirm coverage for your address.

What's the minimum charge?

Our minimum is $75 for a local single-item pickup. We don't take a long drive to haul one small box, but most single-item jobs (one sofa, one appliance) fall in the $75–$125 range.

Do you offer senior discounts?

We give back when we can. Call and ask — we're more flexible on pricing than the big national franchises.
