The Dothan area is full of garages that have become de facto auto storage units — stacks of old tires, an engine block from a project that never got finished, rusted rims, boxes of parts for a car you haven't owned in a decade. Dothan Junk Removal Co. hauls away automotive junk and clears out garage auto clutter throughout Dothan and the Wiregrass region.
This isn't exactly standard junk removal — auto parts are heavy, oily, and often require special handling. We've done it plenty of times and know how to work efficiently and cleanly.
What Auto Junk We Haul
- Tires — stacks of old tires, sets of seasonal tires, loose singles
- Rims and wheels — steel wheels, alloy rims, damaged wheels
- Engine blocks and transmissions — drained of fluids before we pick up
- Body panels and bumpers — fenders, hoods, doors, quarter panels
- Old car batteries — we handle carefully; batteries are recyclable
- Exhaust components — headers, mufflers, catalytic converters, piping
- Car seats, interiors — salvage seats, door panels, trim
- Toolboxes and garage shelving — when it's time to clear the whole space
- Old oil and coolant containers (sealed/empty — we don't haul hazardous liquids)
- General garage auto clutter — the random parts accumulation of years
"Had my late father's garage full of old truck parts, tires, and two engine blocks. These guys came out, assessed it, and cleared the whole thing in one trip. Even swept the floor. Unbelievable." — Dothan customer, April 2026
Important Notes on Auto Junk Removal
Fluids Must Be Drained
We cannot haul items with oils, coolant, or other fluids still inside. Engine blocks, transmissions, and similar items must be properly drained and sealed before pickup. We'll confirm this with you when scheduling.
Tires Are Charged Per Tire
Tires have special disposal fees at licensed facilities. We charge a per-tire fee above our standard load rate — we'll quote this upfront when you tell us how many tires you have.
Hazardous Materials
We don't haul containers of used motor oil, antifreeze, or other automotive fluids. Sealed, empty containers are fine. For fluid disposal, contact the Dothan-area hazardous waste disposal facility.

Do you haul an old non-running car or shell?
We generally don't haul whole vehicles — contact a local auto salvage yard for scrap car removal. However, we haul parts removed from a vehicle. Call to discuss your specific situation.
What do you do with old tires?
We take tires to licensed tire disposal facilities. They are shredded and recycled into rubber products. We cannot leave tires at standard landfills — that's why there's a per-tire fee.
Can I mix auto parts with regular garage junk in one pickup?
Yes — in fact, combining saves you money. Just let us know the mix of items when you call so we can quote accurately and bring the right crew.
Do you recycle catalytic converters?
Catalytic converters contain precious metals and have recycling value. We haul them as part of exhaust removal but recommend checking with a local scrap metal buyer if you want to monetize them separately first.
